Engwe E26

Engwe E26 is an electric bike with wide fat tires, hydraulic disc brakes, and a 48V system with a 16Ah battery. The bike is built for both city and light off-road use, featuring an aluminum frame, mechanical front fork, suspended seatpost, and Shimano 7-speed system.

Laws and Regulations

In Sweden, a vehicle is classified as an electric bicycle if all the following conditions are met:

• The motor's rated power is a maximum of 250 W.

• The motor only provides power when pedaling (pedal assistance).

• The motor stops assisting at 25 km/h.

If the bike is used or programmed to go faster than 25 km/h with electric power, or can be ridden solely with a throttle without pedaling, it is normally not classified as a bicycle but as a moped or other motorized bicycle.
